Adventure Begins At Your Library! Take a little time out from adulting and join us at 5pm for our once-a-month craft night! Each month we'll have a new project and refreshments waiting for you! It's first come, first serve on seating and supplies! This month we will be making PARACORD! Parachute cord is a lightweight nylon kernmantle rope originally used in the suspension lines of parachutes. This cord is now used as a general purpose utility cord. This versatile cord was used by astronauts during the 82nd Space Shuttle mission to repair the Hubble Space Telescope.
This activity was supported by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) through the Library Services and Technology Grant, and the Oklahoma Department of Libraries.
