Interlibrary Loan Request Form
NOTE - This form is not for asking the library system to purchase a new book or putting a hold on a new book. Please ask a staff member if there is a new item the library should purchase or if you'd like to be placed on hold for a new book.
Please complete this form for each item that you would like to request that is not available in our catalog. If you need assistance or your library card number, please call your local library.
You may be able to find your item faster by searching our catalog. If one of our library locations has an item, you can place a hold on it directly from the catalog and receive it much faster. Search our catalog before placing your interlibrary loan request.
You may also find using our WorldCat database helpful to locate your item. It is a worldwide catalog of items own by libraries throughout the world.
Please note that we do not accept requests of the following items:
- Full magazines
- Items published within the past 120 days
- Textbooks currently being used by schools and colleges.
- Self-published books, commonly available from Amazon etc. generally are not available through Interlibrary loan.
- e-books (chapters or articles from an e-book may be requested.)
- Video Games
- Obsolete formats (VHS, Audio cassettes etc.)
We only request items located in libraries in the United States (including Alaska & Hawaii). We primarily deal with libraries that do not charge for lending.
