Week Calendar

Toddler Tales will be for children aged birth to 5 years of age.  During this time, we will sing, play and read stories to help promote a love of reading and practice those gross and fine motor skills necessary for this age group to develop.&

Join us for an hour of moving and grooving with a little mingle in the middle.  Tuesday and Thursday are exercise days at the library.  Come on down to the library and join us.  Everyone is welcome and all ages are invited. 

Each Wednesday Miss Sherri has storyhour for Tykes.  She reads a different story each week and kids will enjoy a song and dance or other entertainment.  Snacks are provided.  Come and join us!

For Stemsational Saturday, we are welcoming back our 3rd Annual Science Fair.  Any child in Kindergarten through 12 grade may enter the Science Fair.  We encourage home-schooled children to enter as well.

Bring your technical questions to Becky on Thursdays from 2-4pm.  Becky will assist you answering questions about your digital devices.  She can demonstrate how to use your device and help you get it set up if needed.

Come and join other teens for an hour  of x-box 360 games.  Several other games are available to play as well.  Each week a different game.  Board games available too.  Bring your own game.  Snacks will be provided.

Come and join us at the Creation Station.  Each week children will enjoy different crafts and other activities as well as a snack.  This weeks kids will be making a Cat In The Hat Clothes Pin Craft.  

Each month the Choctaw Youth Advisory Board meets at the library and Marli tells them all about one of the database that  the library has to offer.  This month another new database will be demonstrated to the group..

Most people these days prefer to communicate via email and phone, so the art of sending a letter in the mail has long been forgotten by some.
