STEM Join us for a hands-on STEM adventure at the library! Kids will design and build their own floating boats using everyday materials, then put them to the test in an exciting boat race. Who will create the fastest, most seaworthy vessel?

During this STEM program, Mrs. Gina will be teaching cloud identification.  Then you will be making a rain cloud in a jar, a tornado in a jar, and finally a cloud made in a jar.

Explore a fantastic selection of books and then step outside for some classic outdoor fun. Try your skills with hula hoops, and more!

Mix paint and baking soda and dilute with water for a thinner consistency. Guests will then paint paper with a design they choose. When satisfied, they will drip vinegar onto the paper to create a neutralization reaction.

Paper, paint, and squeegees collide. Kiddos will drop paint onto paper and use a popsicle squeegee to drag the paint down revealing a custom design.

Guests will design a template to create their own book cover.

Bottles, baby wipes, markers, dish soap, water. Kiddos will cut the bottom off a bottle, rubberband a baby wip to the bottom. color wipe with markers and dip into soapy water.

The library has started a Garden Club and you are invited to come on down to the library and learn all about Gardening.  This month you will learn all about how to properly water your garden.  

Patrons will build a double helix DNA strain out of candy and learn about DNA. Teens

Slime, slime, slime! Join us to create your very own color-changing slime.  Discover the fun behind how and why this fascinating transformation occurs.

In The Color Lab, teens will explore the science behind colors, experiment with pigments and light, and develop hands-on projects that bring vibrant ideas to life.

This exhilarating art form transforms the canvas into a vibrant explosion of colors! With each sweep of the squeegee, bold hues blend and swirl, creating unique patterns and textures.

Join us for an exciting hands-on robotics program featuring Sphero robots! This interactive session introduces participants to basic coding, problem-solving, and robotics through fun challenges and creative activities.

STEM Teens will design and build their own army man launchers with parachutes, then put them to the test!
